Keeping in trend with the "new", I picked up a new kite this weekend down in Galveston. Check out the video:



The kite is a Symphony 2.5, dual-line kite. I know I have probably mentioned before that I was going to get a quad-line kite, but the only quad-line this store had was $550, which was a bit out of my price range right now. This new kite is well worth the $150 I spent on it though.

My shoulders are pretty sore today from the jerking on those lines, as you may be able to see in the video. The pull was enough to drag me a good bit. I have another video where it actually picked me up on the ground, but it's not as great quality. My legs are also pretty sore from trying to fight it.

I think I'm going to have to get down there to the beach quite a bit now and fly this thing. It's so much fun and is pretty easy to fly, strong pull aside.
