As you may remember from a previous entry, I had a bit of trouble with my car after I got back from my Christmas and New Years break. Unfortunately, the trouble hasn't gone into remission as I had hoped it would. In fact, I am now finding that the alternator on the car is making a whining noise, which typically indicates that said alternator is on the verge of failing.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Houston Auto Show, which was essentially a giant showroom for the various auto dealers around town. While I was there, I had the luxury of inspecting two of the model cars I have been considering for my purchase of a new car: A Subaru WRX 5-door and a Volkswagen Jetta.

Both cars had the interior features I was looking for; legroom to the max in the front and reasonable legroom in the back, and a reasonable price tag.

I hope to make my way to the local dealers sometime in the next couple of weeks to see about purchasing one of these models. Hopefully before the end of this next month I will be driving a new car. :)
