To anyone who has asked me to join a group, add an application, or throw a tomato cream pie at someone in an attempt to stop world hunger, sponsored by Bill Gates, please read this message.

I routinely click the "Ignore" button on these Facebook notices. Why? Because a.) it's exactly why I left MySpace, b.) they clutter up profiles, c.) they're usually scams or hoaxes, and d.) they're just plain annoying.

Now, please don't take this personally. I have nothing against you or your attempt at publicizing these groups or applications. I just enjoy having my clean profile the way it is. Also, there may be a rare occasion where I will add an application or join a group, if I see fit.

In closing, eat more pudding, hug a pie, and set your shoes on fire. It's the new way of life.
